Check Out the Super Animal Royale Season 2 Now Live Trailer:
Modus Games and Pixile Studios are abuzz today as Season 2 of the cute-but-deadly Super Animal Royale hits all platforms. The free-to-play battle royale has just crossed 5 million players and is now available for the first time on Google Stadia. The streamable version is also testing free timed game trials on Stadia over the next couple of months, which last 30 minutes; learn more here.
Season 2 debuts the Busy Busy Animal Pass, which offers 49 tiers of rewards and cosmetic items styled for hard workers, steampunk fans and busy bees. It also pays tribute to the newest breed of animal joining the fight to the top of the food chain: Super Beavers. The update also includes an all-new location, cross-play parties and the Season 2 Starter Pack DLC.
Super Animal Royale Season 2 Starting Today Features:
- The brand-new Busy Busy Animal Pass arrives
- As always, passes never expire so previous seasons are also available in the archive for players to work through at their own pace, without FOMO.
- New Beaver Super Animal
- Three beaver breeds including the Super BEEver, whose mix of bee and beaver genes makes them, perhaps, the busiest beaver of all.
- New Location: Beaver Construction HQ
- A dam good place for fighting, featuring three crossable dams connecting two large buildings, and a water-entry beaver lodge.
- Cross-Play Parties
- In addition to the previously available cross-platform matchmaking and cross-save account syncing, players can now form duos and squads with friends on any combination of supported platforms by sharing simple four-digit codes.
- The Stadia version launches with cross-play matchmaking and cross-save, but will get cross-play party support in its next update.
- New Season 2 Starter Pack DLC
- A new pack containing the exclusive “Super Moon Bear” breed, two cosmetic items (Warrior Munk Outfit & Sword), and 600 S.A.W. Tickets.
- Available Dec. 14 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Stadia.
- Available Dec. 20 on Nintendo Switch.
Additionally, Super Animal Royale’s CRISPRmas event runs today through Jan. 4 and features:
- Festive decorations around the island and collectible candy canes that can be redeemed for eight new event cosmetics and 17 returning legacy cosmetics.
- Two new earnable and permanent holiday-themed animal breeds:
- Super Arctic Fox
- Super Reindeer
- CRISPRmas is Super Animal World’s winter festival, celebrating the miraculous (and ethically questionable) genetic engineering techniques that brought the Super Animals to life.
PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass subscribers can also claim free console-themed DLC packs starting today, each including four exclusive cosmetic items.

Super Animal Royale is a battle royale with a zoological twist. Play as your favorite cuddly, genetically modified animal picked from 300+ breeds, find your style with 600+ cosmetic items and jump off the back of a Giant Eagle and into a 64-player fight to the death. You’ll fire shotguns and sparrows, toss grenades and bananas and ride emus and hamster balls all the way to the top of the food chain. The explosive top-down action pairs perfectly with an expressive flat-design style, and the innovative fog-of-war system enables a game that’s as deep and strategic as it is fun and accessible.
