Aion, the fantasy MMORPG from NCSOFT where ascended humans battle over the fate of Atreia, is celebrating its 13th anniversary with in-game events beginning today. Officially reaching teenager status, Aion has special plans in store for players wishing to celebrate the friends, the battles, and the fashions that were made along the way. The 13th Anniversary celebration begins today, Sept. 14, and will run for a full month, until Oct. 12. Be sure to collect rewards while they’re still available. Find out the full details of the 13th Anniversary Celebrations on the official website.
To celebrate Aion’s anniversary, the Dreamworld carnival has returned, where players can spend their time (and passively earn a whopping 750,000 experience per minute in the event area). There’s also a login event where players will receive a balance of 13th Anniversary Coins each day they log in, for every 30 minutes they stay logged in, and can also find them as drops in most auto-hunting zones. Players will also receive a 13th Anniversary gift on the first day of the attendance event, and an additional one if they complete the attendance event without missing a day.
Players can redeem their 13th Anniversary Coins in the Dreamworld Carnival at the 13th Anniversary Vending Machines to collect prizes at random. The items available in the vending machine are highly useful to players, so be sure to get them while they’re still around!
Arriving later this month, Aion Classic will also receive a major 2.4 update. Aion Classic will get three new instances: Abyssal Splinter, Araka, and a new difficulty for Beshmundir. Several previous instances will be updated to be solo dungeons as well, for players to challenge themselves and to collect better rewards. The 2.4 update will also include some major quality of life changes. Players will have access now to the Quest Cube, a separate inventory for quest items, and player equipment loadouts can now be saved and quickly accessed through the player’s character profile.
Look for the Aion Classic 2.4 patch preview coming soon, and the anniversary celebration begins today for Aion. Find out more information or begin playing for free by visiting the official website.
