Fatshark is making their award-winning top-seller, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 free-to-keep from November 3-7.
A Milestone Worth Celebrating
November 30th marks the release of Fatshark’s next game, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, an intensely brutal cooperative game set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. This release will be the 3rd installment of “Tide” releases over the past 7 years and adds to the already critically acclaimed Vermintide series.
Leading up to the release of Darktide, Fatshark will host a series of activities and updates to celebrate the launch. This includes a copy of Vermintide 2! The game is free from November 3-7 as part of a Free-to-Keep offer via Steam.
Fatshark will also release a free update to Vermintide 2, Trail of Treachery, on November 8, a new snowy adventure mission, and part one of a two part series.
For Darktide, Fatshark offers pre-order and play early starting November 17 as part of the pre-release beta period.
Also, any player that owns a copy of Vermintide 1 or Vermintide 2 qualifies to receive the Devoted Rejects Pack , a Darktide cosmetic pack inspired by the Vermintide hero characters that can be redeemed on November 30th after jumping into Darktide.
Sharpen Your Co-op Skills
Anyone who hasn’t had the chance to play Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will now get to dig into the hectic, intense gameplay and familiarize themselves with the lore.
Since its release in 2018, the game has been updated frequently and received several free content additions. The popular Chaos Wastes expansion alone features a larger gameplay area than the original game. By now, Vermintide 2 has more than doubled in size. And it will not stop here: Next week, another level, Trail of Treachery, will be added – free of charge.
DLC and cosmetic items
All Vermintide 2 DLCs are currently 50% off, and most cosmetic items are also on sale.
