In recent news within the CS:GO scene, the Eagles are back in the top 16 after managing to make their way through recent challenger stages of IEM Rio. With such a dramatic rise, this has never actually been reported within the CSGO realm- to happen so quickly in such little time. While they were not a part of the usual circuit, they seem to be most certainly playing like they are.

With the news of the Bad Eagles making it up the leaderboards very quickly, the news of victory made players leap up from their seats and emerge into a huddle, to celebrate with their manager James Bank. Beating GamerLegion was a huge milestone, the victory came in good time too, within the third round of the IEM Rio, of the Australian Caster. All of the CSGO scene present were left stunned at the rapid change of events and the results of the evening.
While over the years there have been tales such as these within the crowds, one thing for sure is, underdogs found it extremely hard to make rankings in such a miniscule amount of time. Over the years, there have been many stories that have been shared through previous CSGO events, a great similar example where crowds were left in awe would have to be the victors of the ENCE grand final-Cloud9’s. Due to the efficiency of gameplay up until the moment of success, they were underdogs too that had an extremely unlikely chance of making it to the quarter finals. But alas, within the year 2019, they happened to make the necessary moves to not only surpass the quarter finals but to make a final appearance at the end of the tournament.
While romantic tales of underdogs happen to circulate very few within the industry of CSGO, the circumstances to make them happen are very few, and often never witnessed. However the Bad Eagles happen to really create a captivating story behind them, calling allegiance to fans that perhaps were not joined to their banners. With the continued captivating tale being woven within Rio de Janeiro, as we speak, we are left wondering what is to come, as the underdogs have made the legends stage.
The Albanian team have happened to gather new fans amongst all the PR appeal, and while CS:GO happens to be a spur of the day kind of event, many have become reminiscent of the past success of Bad Eagle- especially their Cologne appearance within 2014. This has pretty much inspired Bad Eagle’s past to be dug up and reminisced of course.
With gambling within Albania and Kosovo being illegal, taking advantage of what the team would earn would of course need to be in international waters-meaning residents of the teams country would struggle to place their bets and belief on the team.
Nevertheless, in recent press interviews with the team, the expressed how the organisation of the team is entirely motivated on the success and records, recognition was the top of their lists, and not the money.
