Atari has arrived at BIG Festival, the biggest game festival in Latin America, with exciting news that promises to thrill the attending audience. For the first time, the iconic publisher chooses BIG to hold its worldwide releases. Atari unveiled the launch and trailer of two games during the festival: Haunted House and Quantum: Recharged.
Haunted House
Haunted House is a tribute to the classic survival horror game, adopting dynamic roguelite elements seamlessly while incorporating gameplay that emphasizes stealth and battles with terrifying bosses. In Haunted House, players take control of Lyn Graves, the young niece of the legendary treasure hunter Zachary Graves. Lyn visits her uncle’s mansion with her closest companions, only to find the house infested with ghosts and monsters that quickly snatch away her friends. To free her uncle and friends, and capture all the supernatural enemies, Lyn must find the broken pieces of a magical urn and assemble them to contain the troublesome poltergeists. The game is packed with easter eggs based on the original Haunted House and other beloved classics from Atari’s golden age.
Haunted House is developed by Orbit Studio and published by Atari. The game will be released later this year for Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Nintendo Switch, Atari VCS, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Quantum: Recharged
In Quantum: Recharged, players must defeat waves of enemies by surrounding and trapping groups of adversaries with their ship to create punishing death zones that annihilate them. With no weapons on board, lasers, or missiles to take down enemies, Quantum: Recharged challenges players to avoid taking damage and progress through increasingly difficult levels. A fusion of frenetic gameplay and quick problem-solving, Quantum: Recharged is a visual cosmic wonder complemented by an original and energetic soundtrack from award-winning composer Megan McDuffie, featuring thrilling melodies and infectious beats.
Visitors can try out demos of the games as part of the World Panorama section at the BIG Festival, where Atari will be present with four gaming stations. Orbit Studio, the Brazilian developer behind Haunted House, will be featured live on stage in the program.
