Alexander Seropian, the founder of Bungie, Justin Ratushniak, and Vikas Gupta have all been added to the board of advisors of Shifty Eye Games, an independent game production business run by veterans of the industry. The business also disclosed that it is still looking to add important personnel.
These calculated actions align with an important turning point for the business: while Shifty Eye gets ready to embark on its largest project to date—a stealth-adventure game based on a well-known film franchise—the studio was also granted $788,500 CAD in funding to market, distribute, and sell the game in over 180 countries. Through the Export-Ready Stream initiative of Creative Export Canada, the funding is provided by Canadian Heritage and the Government of Canada.
