Unlock a New Series of French Destroyers with Early Access
Players may enjoy a new line of French destroyers that will be available in Early Access starting on July 11 and lasting until September 5. Legendary vessels that are well-suited for close-quarters fighting exist on the list, such the Tier V L’Adroit with its recognizable torpedoes. During the Early Access event, players will also be able to purchase exclusive permanent camouflages in honor of these new ships.
A commemorative Event Pass will also be offered from July 11 through August 8 to mark the debut of the new French Destroyers. As they go over two progression lines, players will be able to earn interesting rewards such as new ships, Tier V L’Adroit and Tier VII Le Hardi, permanent camouflages, and French Tokens for finishing extra levels.
Arpeggio of Blue Steel Docks Again with a New Wave
Fan-favorite collaboration Arpeggio of Blue Steel, a nautical anime series, will return in the July update, docking on July 18 before setting sail on August 15. One of the items in the new content wave is a skin for the Japanese Tier X battleship ARP Yamato, which comes with an animated Yamato figure and a voiced version of the Hyuga Commander. Together with a unique Arpeggio of Blue Steel Crate, there will also be two exquisite flags with themes based on Yamato and Hyuga.
The most recent release of World of Warships will see old material made available for purchase for those who were unable to enjoy the earlier rounds of content. This includes classic series favorites like Kirishima, Musashi, and Haruna, as well as former premium ships like the Tier X battleship ARP Yamato and Tier VIII cruiser ARP Takao. Lastly, World of Warships: Blitz’s mobile version will now feature the Arpeggio of Blue Steel collaboration for the first time!
There Will Be New Modes, Brawls, plus More Soon
The July update for World of Warships concludes with the addition of new modes, brawls, and ranked battles. Mode Shuffle will put players against one another in close-quarters conflicts across three well-known game modes: Airship Escort, Convoy, or Arms Race, the latter of which has new improvements. It will run from July 11 to August 9 for a short time.
Players can expect three new Brawls, which began July 15, and the addition of Season 18 of Ranked Battles starting on July 10th, along with unique Support Consumables to bring some variation to the gameplay.
