The new auto-battler dungeon crawler Skull Horde, developed by the Scottish firm 8BitSkull, is sure to give you nightmares. Players assume the form of a flying skull, driven by the sinister forces of necromancy, and summon a legion of skeletons in a war of bone versus flesh, making “death” nothing more than a transient annoyance!
As rumors of the dead permeate the tombs and the beloved dead yearn to return, something evil is about to happen. Fortunately, BORE BLASTERS’ developers are here to help. In their upcoming game Skull Horde, players take on the role of a strong necromancer, creating hordes of living dead to fight hordes of living…alive. This sounds more like a flying skull than a “body.” In order to enhance the shambling horde and realize each soldier’s full necrotic potential, you must raise an ever-increasing skeletal army and fight through procedurally generated dungeons while gathering a ton of boons and loot and unlocking potent perks.

Skull Horde Key Features:
- Procedurally Generated Dungeons: Explore many dungeons that are generated procedurally; each one has a different kind of adversary that requires a different approach to defeat. To avoid being condemned to the afterlife yourself, you must overcome several obstacles with inventive builds.
- Realtime Auto Battling: Skull Horde battles are fought in real time, and your minions engage in solo combat. Create your team, decide where to explore, whether to advance, and when to eliminate your adversaries.
- For Whom the Bell Tolls?: Try out many playable characters with distinct special skills to see which one best suits your preferred method of dispensing death.
- Rise from Your Grave: Bring the dead back to life and use them to fight hordes of miserable flesh troops. To acquire stronger versions and unlock special abilities, mix up your army or combine different sorts of units.
- Powerful Loot and Boons: There are chests and shrines with strong loot and boons to gather in every kind of dungeon, but try not to get greedy lest the horde overwhelms you.
Playable in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, and Polish, Skull Horde will be made available on PC via Steam with support for Steam Deck and Linux.
