Savathûn leads Guardians through a Pyramid ship filled with Dread in Destiny 2’s newest dungeon, Sundered Doctrine. Alongside the launch, there will be an official Dungeon Race, which will test fireteams’ ability to finish the task while using Contest Mode. All players that finish Contest Mode within the first 48 hours will receive a special insignia and a guaranteed Exotic weapon, and the first verified team to complete the dungeon will receive a personalized trophy. After a fireteam finishes the dungeon in Contest Mode, Normal Mode will become available.
You can use the Bungie Rewards offer to buy the Sundered Doctrine set, which includes a new work shirt, dungeon bracelet, and pin, if you finish the dungeon by 9:59 AM PDT on May 6, 2025. Guardians will receive the Bungie Rewards offer to buy the Sundered Doctrine Title Pin if they finish the Delver Title by 9:59 AM PDT on May 6, 2025.
This week saw the release of Destiny 2: Heresy, which returned Guardians to the Dreadnaught, Oryx’s flagship. The Nether is a three-player game that introduces new weaponry, equipment, subclass Aspects, and artifact mods. Players use the Taken’s power to disrupt Anchors and stop the Taken invasion. This mode, which draws inspiration from Shattered Realm and The Coil, offers randomized encounters, special challenges, and chances to improve builds with strong boons.
