Hooded Horse is thrilled to announce He is Coming from Chronocle, a Swedish company that makes top-notch tactical and strategic games. In this roguelite RPG autobattler, players must gather magical items, explore a randomly created fantasy kingdom, and be ready for The Big Bad to show up. In 2025, Steam Early Access for PC is scheduled to release the game.

Players will only get a pointed stick and a death wish when they first start, and they won’t have much time to get ready because they will have to battle one of 30 strong boss monsters every three days as they search for unwary heroes. Players who strategically manage a run will be able to create a build that is specifically designed to take out each approaching monster in turn before facing the Demon King in the final battle. Each boss has unique strengths and weaknesses.
Players will have little time to get ready, so they will go out and gather guns, gear, and strong stuff to make one of the almost endless loadouts that could rescue the world. There are more than 350 potential objects to locate and gather, but there is a limited amount of inventory space, so some difficult decisions must be made. Players will battle wild animals and other creatures for cash along the way. These beasties are somewhat docile throughout the day, yet they will vigorously hunt at night. Although campfires provide cover from needless harm, players run the danger of missing out on important experience and awards as a result!
And don’t worry, champion—whether they win or lose, players get exclusive bonuses and awards for their subsequent runs! Kingmaker, an asynchronous multiplayer mode, is another aspect of He is Coming. In the ultimate test of strategic skill, where champions compete against other players’ formidable builds, look for the fallen Demon King’s crown.
