Season 05 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone will launch on August 7 and will feature four new multiplayer maps, a variety of new and returning modes, the intense conclusion of the Black Ops 6 zombies plot, an exciting new Limited Time Mode in Warzone, entertaining Store bundles like The Replacer Commander Battleman and I Know What You Did Last Summer bundles, and a ton of surprises!

Season 5 Key Features:
Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Overview:
- Four Maps: Corner the last Pantheon moles on Runway, Exchange, and World Motor Dynasty (W.M.D.), three newly additional maps at launch. Place a large wager on Jackpot for the mid-season upgrade.
- New and Returning Modes: During the first half of the season, Snipers Only and Cranked Moshpit will be back, and headshots or bust will be the new Aim High mode. Get explosive in the Cranked Demolition LTE and use the best weapons in Blueprint Gunfight during the middle of the season.
- New Scorestreak: When the Combat Bow Scorestreak arrives in the middle of the season, use its explosive-tipped arrows to blast the opposition.
- Season 05 Ranked Play: As you advance through the ranks of Multiplayer Ranked Play, you may compete against the greatest players and earn new Rank Camo seasonal goodies.
Black Ops 6 Zombies Overview:
- The Reckoning Arrives: As the attack on Janus Towers commences and the long-brewing conflict between Richtofen and S.A.M. reaches a tipping point, avoid an Appalachian apocalypse.
- Flexing the Gorgofex: This bio-mechanical weapon, which is pistol-sized and punches much above its weight, combines insectile and mycelial qualities to create a Wonder Weapon that can cause direct harm and anti-gravity incapacitation.
- Additional Gameplay Content: Battle opposing teams in Reckoning’s brand-new Grief Arenas before switching back to Directed Mode in the middle of the season for a comprehensive objective-driven experience. Midway through the season, Team Cranked makes a comeback as well, connecting teammates to a shared timer that intensifies the mayhem with each round!
- Bunny Beatdowns: Arriving to slaughter the undead hordes in fresh and exciting ways is the Mister Peeks Field Upgrade. Then, in mid-season, use the Combat Bow Support Weapon to bring incendiary ammunition to a zombie battle.
Warzone Overview:
- Raze the Roof:Take a multi-step contract and visit Verdansk to learn about the high-tech secrets that lie within Verdansk Stadium.
- New Limited Time Modes: In order to avoid elimination in Deadline, you must rescue your fallen teammates, battle until the end in Stadium Resurgence, and rise from the lowest-scoring squad.
- New Features: Finish the Satellite Highjack Contract to experience the thrilling buildup to a major.
- Season 05 Ranked Play: Show off your skills and dominate Battle Royale and Resurgence Ranked Play to earn brand-new seasonal goodies.
Across All Modes:
- Weapons Detail: Use the ABR A1 Assault Rifle, PML 5.56 LMG, and Boxing Gloves Melee as your first four new weapons in Season 05. In the middle of the season, you’ll also get a new Gravemark.357 Revolver. Next, unlock the Helical SMG Magazine in the middle of the season and the two-Attachment 9mm PM Skull Splitter at launch.
- New Events and Rewards: Throughout the season, take part in a number of thrilling events and acquire new rewards, such as the Boxing Gloves Melee Weapon and the new Combat Bow Scorestreak.
- Battle Pass and BlackCell: The Season 05 Battle Pass, which will include both free and paid tiers of new Weapon Blueprints, Operator Skins, Calling Cards, Finishing Moves, Emotes, and more, will be led by tactical expert Lawrence Sims, who was last seen in the Black Ops 6 Campaign. The 9mm PM Skull Splitter Attachment and two new base weapons are included in the free tiers.
- Season 05 Operators: While Solace, the living embodiment of virtue, leads BlackCell and restores justice and order to the mayhem, Sims is the star of the new Battle Pass. Put on your suit, take on the role of The Replacer, and use The Fisherman from I Know What You Did Last Summer to terrorize your adversaries.
