A brand-new playable sample of Star Fire: Eternal Cycle, a fast-paced roguelite sidescroller from publisher Indie Herb Games and developer Ethereal Fish Studio, will be made available on PC via Steam on Saturday, August 9, 2025.
In a post-apocalyptic wasteland, level up the mayhem and defeat extraterrestrial foes as a decisive striker. Use a variety of dynamic weapons with unique fighting styles, level up in the middle of a battle, and instantly discover potent upgrades. Sweep through groups of adversaries with the Golden Axe, use the Lightning Fist to deliver quick blows in confined spaces, and use the Cyclone Cannon’s cyclone blasts to tear opponents to pieces.
Experience the exhilarating new demo today, where you can wield two of the eight weapons that are planned, such as Flamethrower and Lightning Fist. Use the BugCores system to release elemental powers that can change the game, such as the close-range zapping Thunder Orbs, the defense-boosting Absolute Shield, and the enemy-freezing Frost Aura. Experiment with BugCore combinations to create adaptable character builds that suit various individual playstyles.
Explore a range of biomes with a sci-fi theme, such as Lava Volcano, Desert of Death, and Vault Tec. To get a variety of benefits, such as enhanced weapon damage or new skills like Flame Ring, collect equipment sets. To defeat every alien, humanoid, zombie, and cyborg that gets in your way, you can mix and match weapons, create BugCores, and combine gear sets.

On Saturday, August 9, 2025, the PC demo of Star Fire: Eternal Cycle will be accessible via Steam. English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and French are among the languages supported.
