As announced today on Future Game Show Live from gamescom, Halloween, an asymmetric stealth horror game with single and multiplayer modes from developer and publisher IllFonic, co-published by Gun Interactive, and in collaboration with Compass International Pictures and Further Front, will make its way to the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and Epic Game Stores in 2026.

Enter the spooky world of John Carpenter‘s seminal work, which has been turned into a gripping stealth horror movie with one versus many characters. Put on the recognizable mask to transform into the ultimate slasher, Michael Myers, and either pursue and kill Haddonfield residents one by one or work to stop Michael Myers’ schemes as Civilians trying to save the gullible villagers before it’s too late.
As civilians, stay in the shadows, looking for Haddonfield locals to alert and figuring out how to get in touch with the police. In order to keep the police from ruining Michael Myers’ favorite holiday, give them a cause to be afraid of the dark and cut the phone lines. Stealth, cunning, and deft play are rewarded in every mode, whether you’re playing alone in narrative mode, against bots offline, or against other players in online multiplayer.
IllFonic expertly recreates the spooky atmosphere of Haddonfield across numerous maps and real-world locales while remaining faithful to the original movie. With its eerie atmosphere and soundtrack derived from the iconic film, Halloween brings the horror home in a brand-new experience that will have both younger and older generations on guard.

In 2026, Halloween’s Michael Myers will be released for the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC through the Steam and Epic Game Stores.
