Eden Prairie, Minnesota – May 31, 2016 – Octopus Tree, a new publisher focused on bringing exceptional indie titles to gamers worldwide, announced today that it has collaborated with award-winning Minneapolis brewery Dangerous Man Brewing Co. for a new beer based on Octopus Tree’s recently released action RPG, Goliath. The beer, “Goliath Experimental Double IPA,” will be released exclusively in bottles and on tap during a party to celebrate Octopus Tree’s launch titles to be held at the Dangerous Man Brewing Co. taproom on Sunday, June 5.
“We are thrilled to be working with Dangerous Man on the Goliath beer and our launch party,” said Jeremy Zoss, Marketing Manager for Octopus Tree. “Dangerous Man shares our mentality of independence and creativity, and our partnership has been a delight from start to finish. Goliath Experimental Double IPA Tasting Notes
- Appearance: Rich gold, bordering on copper
- Aroma: Rich tropical overtones followed by stone fruits and finishing notes of citrus
- Flavor: Dominant notes of tropical fruit, with currents of stone fruits and citrus. The sturdy malt backbone provides a delicate counterpoint to the massive hop-forward presentation, which is both bracing and smooth.
Goliath brings players to a world where massive monsters roam freely. To survive, players must scavenge for resources and materials to create powerful giant robots called Goliaths. Goliaths can be customized and outfitted with weapons for various situations and battle preferences. Players can also create items and tools for survival, build a fortress and find new allies, and choose which factions to support in the war that is sweeping across the world.
Goliath and Robot Arena III are now available on Steam.
