Breaking Through the $200 Fundraising Mark, Luna Expansion Now Added to Popular Kickstarter Campaign to Reboot Classic Miniatures Game
LONDON, ENGLAND (September 26, 2016): Modiphius Entertainment and Cabinet Entertainment announce today the new Luna Expansion has now been unlocked for Mutant Chronicles: Siege of the Citadel and is guaranteed for all backers at the Dark Legion level ($149), bringing the current and growing value of this pledge level to $248.
The Luna Expansion, developed by Jay Little (Mutant Chronicles, Star Wars X-Wing Miniatures Game, Warhammer RPG), introduces the 7th player option with the Luna Police Department and Freelancers. The Luna Expansion will include 17 additional miniatures, bringing the current total to 88 miniatures with many more yet to be announced. Also unlocked today for all Doom Trooper and Dark Legion pledge levels, a Kickstarter Exclusive miniature of Mitch Hunter’s dog “Pride,” familiar to fans from Paul Bonner’s artwork.
After reaching its fundraising goal in the first four hours and now surpassing the $200,000 mark with still 12 days to go in the Kickstarter campaign, there are still a slew of exciting bonuses, add-ons and unlocks to reveal for the Mutant Chronicles: Siege of the Citadel 2nd edition.
Bonuses already unlocked and guaranteed to all backers at the Dark Legion pledge level include the Brotherhood Expansion, Citadel Walls, a 3rd character for each faction, Edward Murdoch chibi, Reinforcement Heroes Attila III and Yojimba, Double Stairwell Tile Set, Plastic Insert Stairwell and Tile, 3-part Mini Campaign by Eric Lang, Double Throneroom Tile Set, Mission Guide DoomTrooper Cards, Dark Legion Force Cards, 3-part Mini Campaign by Kevin Wilson, Dark Legion Event Cards, Secondary Mission Cards and Equipment Cards.
Mutant Chronicles: Siege of the Citadel by designers Richard Borg with Eric M. Lang and Kevin Wilson, is an innovative 2nd edition of the original worldwide hit board game Siege of the Citadel, originally designed by Richard Borg and published by Target Games and Pressman Toys in the 1990s. This new edition reboots the classic with an A-List design team, balanced and updated rules, 40 new sculpted minis, new double-sided tiles and new creatures.
The original Siege of the Citadel was one of the first games of its kind to offer character development and the unique rotating Dark Legion player, among other groundbreaking ideas. Conceived by Sweden’s gaming powerhouse Target Games, Siege of the Citadel had television advertising in the US and hundreds of gamers still own much loved copies across the world.
