Combat-Action Hit Brings Style and Substance to Xbox One; Plus, The Game Bakers Releases Making of Video #2
Montpellier, France – October 12, 2016 – Xbox One players, prepare for the fight! The Game Bakers is bringing Furi, its frenzied all-boss fighter, to Xbox One.
Deemed ‘supremely stylish,’ ‘genre-bending,’ and ‘intensely engaging,’ and praised for its unique mix of sword fighting and dual-stick shooting, Furi is a challenging game comprised entirely of wildly varying boss battles over a mysterious quest for freedom.
The game will come to Xbox One at a date to be announced, with exclusive new content, in particular a new boss encounter, that The Game Bakers is teasing about in this one screenshot.
Pulsing with an original soundtrack featuring popular acts Carpenter Brut, Danger, Scattle, Waveshaper and more, with a vibrant art style and unique character design – by Takashi Okazaki, Afro Samurai’s creator – Furi, which has garnered 93% positive reviews on Steam, “is a love letter to Japanese action games such as No More Heroes, Metal Gear Solid or Godhand.”
As you wait for the Xbox One release, The Game Bakers is sharing Episode 2 of their “Making Of” Furi, directed by Katya Mokolo (Kitsuney), this time with a focus finding the right recipe for Furi’s gameplay.
