Pass on the shield of legends and become a RuneScape hero, as Jagex releases a new trailer to coincide with the launch of the MMORPG’s summertime Twitch Prime Package
Cambridge, UK – Adventure is calling in RuneScape, and ‘Darren’ – the star of the MMORPG’s brand-new trailer – is about to discover how heroes are forged. Premiering concurrently on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook, the trailer sees Darren go from being a wet-behind-the-ears n00b to the slayer (well, almost) of iconic RuneScape boss, King Black Dragon, before passing the shield of legends onto an even newer hero-in-waiting.
Guy Pearce, Director of Brand and Creative Production, said:
“Anybody who has played RuneScape over the years will know that seizing adventure with both hands will take them on a journey across the game world, whether that’s battling three-headed dragons, sailing the seas of The Eastern Lands, or even interacting with the gods themselves. The new trailer introduces players to Darren as he begins his own adventure to smite King Black Dragon and make great friends along the way.”
The release of the new trailer coincides with the launch of RuneScape’s Twitch Prime Package. From newcomers like Darren looking for their first taste of RuneScape, or veteran adventurers of Gielinor, the special offer provides Twitch Prime members a whole treasure chest of goodies worth $50 for free, including:
