The Latest Video Game News and Reviews

Gaming News Round-up: August

There are many reasons we gamers love gaming but, let’s face it; even we can grow tired of the same stale tropes. Sometimes, we can even grow bored of even our most favourite games (usually after thousands of hours), so it’s always good to know what exciting new games, developments, and updates are in the pipeline to keep our enjoyment dialled up. Below we’ve put together some of the most recent news for gamers of all persuasions.

Nintendo Switch users are Doomed

Despite Bethesda failing to mention it at the QuakeCon 2018 keynote, Doom Eternal is coming to Nintendo Switch. Despite only being available for pre-order on Xbox One, PS4, and PC, the official Doom Twitter account confirmed all the blood and gore and fast-paced action would be available on Switch.

The launch date for Doom Eternal is yet to be announced for any platform. Although we do know it will be released in 2019, this is a little vague. We’ll have to wait to see whether it’s released on all platforms at the same time or whether the producer decides to stagger its release.

Halo: Infinite focuses on Master Chief

Despite Halo 5 splitting your play time between Master Chief and Agent Locke, the upcoming release will focus more heavily on Master Chief. The game is said to be a continuation of Halo 5 but Microsoft says they are actively trying to move the Halo series away from the numbered game system. Details are still a little thin on the ground but we expect to see the game towards the back end of 2019.

Online casinos that don’t need a deposit

Most casinos offer some sort of bonus when you deposit money, although, there are often clauses attached to how the money can be used. More casinos are starting to also offer bonuses that don’t require any form of monetary deposit. This allows users to open accounts and enjoy the bonus without parting with any of their money. Many of the bonuses are in the form of free bets or free spins no deposit. This can be a great way to get to know a new game or check out a new casino without parting with any of your own cash.
