Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. unveiled the last combatants in the enormous lineup that will be appearing in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. Every teaser has been eagerly anticipated by fans who want to know which of their favorite characters from DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI will be playable at launch. Favorite characters from the feature films Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super were added to the final 27 new characters shown in a new video that was published today.

Fans who calculated the number of characters in the game using a “honeycomb” image that grew larger with each new character release might be surprised by the ultimate total. Expectations were crushed today when Bandai Namco revealed the entire roster. Distinguished figures from the DRAGON BALL Z original feature films are now competing alongside the 27 new fighters that were added to the final roster of 181 combatants. Broly (Z), Broly (Z) Super Saiyan, and Broly (Z) Legendary Super Saiyan from the 1993 movie Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan are among the new members of the lineup.
Additionally, Cooler from Cooler’s Revenge and The Return of Cooler makes an appearance in both his Final Form and Metal Cooler incarnations. The extended cast also includes Turles from The Tree of Might, Bojack with Full-Power Bojack from Bojack Unbound, Dr. Wheelo from The World’s Strongest, Lord Slug and his Giant Form from Lord Slug, Android 13 and Fusion Android 13 from Super Android 13, and Super Garlic Jr. from Dead Zone.
Utilizing Unreal Engine 5 and created by Spike Chunsoft, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is the highly anticipated continuation of the DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI series that fans have been waiting for more than 15 years. It promises fast-paced action, expansive, destructible settings, and breathtaking visuals powered by new-generation platforms.
On October 11, 2024, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO will be released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam.
