Willamette Parkview Mall reopens today in conjunction with the digital release of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster on the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, which is really a remake, is a lavish remaster of the beloved Dead Rising game from 2006. It boasts outrageous action, outrageous combat, and an engaging plot that are all brought to life by Capcom’s RE ENGINE. As he carves, blasts, and shopping carts his way through hordes of zombies like never before in up to 4K resolution with a 60 FPS frame rate, players can now take control of photojournalist hero Frank West (he’s covered wars, ya know). In addition, new ridiculous costumes, voice lines, more user-friendly controls, and much more are included!
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster introduces freelance reporter Frank West as he travels to Willamette, Colorado after hearing there is something strange going on in the town—a must-see for everyone who has spent the last eighteen years stuck in a mall. Frank quickly discovers that he must survive for the next 72 hours while under zombie control! It is completely up to the players to decide if they want to just survive or take on the task of finding out what is really going on with the outbreak!
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Key Features:
- Improved Graphics: Experience a zombie apocalypse at Willamette Parkview Mall like never before in up to 4K quality at 60 frames per second.
- Updated Character Models: Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster presents brand-new, exquisite character modeling for Frank West, the insane psychopaths, Brad, Jessie, Isabela, and the adored Madonna, as well as the outbreak survivors and the apparently never-ending waves of monsters.
- Expanded Language Support!: The voiceovers for every character in Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster are available in nine different languages, including English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Castilian Spanish, and Russian, for the first time ever! Along with the nine previously listed languages, the game will also contain subtitles in Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Polish, and Arabic.
- 3, 2, 1…Cheese!: The game’s photo function now includes a variety of photo filters, such as Black and White, Sepia, Vintage, Pixel Art, and more, allowing players to unleash their creative side and become the finest zombie-hunting photojournalists in the industry.
- Quality-of-(Undead) Life Improvements: Aim while moving! Put your own stamp on your action photos! Save automatically! Plus a whole lot more
The Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Digital Deluxe Edition includes 17 absurd Frank West outfits, including Mega Man, Ashley Graham, and Licker, in addition to 17 BGM tunes that can be played throughout the mall. Remember that on Friday, Nov. 8, 2024, physical copies of the game will be released on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
