The game, created by Amber Studio, is a fast-paced, violent spin on the multiplayer PAC-MAN genre. It supports cross-play between consoles and PC and supports 64 players in battles across a range of vibrant, interconnected mazes. Standard and Deluxe versions of the game are currently playable on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, and PC through Steam.
In PAC-MAN MEGA TUNNEL BATTLE: munch CHAMPS, players munch their way through pellets, power-ups, GHOSTS, and even other PACs throughout many interconnected mazes to become the munch Champ, also known as the last PAC standing at the conclusion of each round. Everything in the game is edible, with the exception of the labyrinth. This is the first cross-platform multiplayer PAC-MAN game. Additionally, it has a Friend system that allows four players to join a single match, follow each other’s progress, and watch their friends play. Two different game modes are available: Ranked Mode, in which players are matched with similarly skilled opponents from around the world and compete for a spot on regional and global leaderboards, and Elimination Mode, which features arcade-style action where players of any rank can compete and earn Tokens to redeem on customization items.

A range of Power Items in PAC-MAN MEGA TUNNEL BATTLE: CHOMP CHAMPS can be used to enlist the GHOSTS as convenient friends in addition to improving a player’s powers. Gamers can acquire power-ups to aid their PACs or aid the GHOSTS in pursuing the opposition, such as increased speed, shields, and more. The greatest way to stand out in a field of 64 players is through your playing talents, but you can also make your PAC unique by customizing it, giving you bragging rights in a different league.
