Quantic Dreams’ David Cage, the French developer of Beyond: Two Souls, will become the first person ever in the video game industry to receive France’s coveted la Légion d’honneur – or – Legion of Honor award.
The award will be presented on March 14 by French Minister Delegate with responsibility for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Innovation and the Digital Economy, Fleur Pellerin.
Although France has honored game designers before by awarding Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto, Ubisoft’s Michel Ancel, and others with the Order of Arts and Letters, Cage will be the first developer to receive the Legion of Honour award.
