Daybreak Games is thrilled to share its plans for this year’s Extra Life charity campaign, which will include the yearly Game Day on November 2. In addition to being selected Extra Life’s Partner of the Year Extra Life Award 2024, Daybreak Games has already raised over $40k more than its $100k target, all of which will go toward supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals around the country.
In the spirit of friendly competition, the community is encouraged to support one of the four studio teams and join Daybreak’s Super Team. With open invitations to their communities to join, each game and/or studio team has established its own fundraising target and incentives. The local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals for each team will receive all donations, which will then be utilized to benefit the most underserved areas.
This week’s Extra Life schedule for each Daybreak Games team includes Game Day events on November 2.
Our goal this year is to cross the $20,000 mark, but we have rewards for everyone in the game when the team crosses other milestones on the way. Curious to know what they are? Our community has already unlocked the first three milestone incentives, giving players the Glimmer Wings, Helper’s Halo, Patron’s Plumage, Star Crown, and Angelic Drone Emblem cosmetics. There are five tiers to go, so be sure to join our team and help a great cause.
Fans of D&D Online can watch a special Extra Life livestream. On Saturday, November 2nd, the team will broadcast live from 8 a.m. to midnight ET. As they encourage participants to raise money for underprivileged kids, the team will be giving out prizes and other treats. Through random giveaways, players who donate $10 or more will be rewarded with three tiers of community benefits for reaching the $10k, $20k, and $30k milestones. Additionally, players can select their own prizes from the Community Loot List when they donate $10 to $60 to Extra Life. View all the information HERE.
To support Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, Darkpaw Games is mobilizing their community. A Lustrous Flying Carpet, three Overseer Packs, “The Kindhearted” title, and other goodies are available to players who contribute $5 to $100 or more.
