BLACK DESERT Mobile Gear Awakening and New EXP Buff System Now Available

Pearl Abyss announced today that Gear Awakening, a new gear enhancement system, and Family Blessings, an EXP buff system, are available through a free content update in Black Desert Mobile. 

Gear Awakening

In order to explore more treacherous new regions like Norther Mediah, Adventurers will need even more powerful gear, weapons, and armor. With Gear Awakening, adventurers can upgrade their equipment with the awakened enchantment. Obtained through the Gear Awakening enchantment system, the awakened enchantment is one of the fastest ways to reach a higher combat level. It also gives players attack and defense buffs. Adventurers need at least one ascended character to awaken their gear. 

Family Blessings

Black Desert Mobile is also getting a new EXP buff system called Family Blessings. This buff system is designed for Adventurers who have multiple characters and want faster growth for their lower-level characters. When Adventurers play a character that is not their highest-level character, the EXP buff will be applied. The buff is effective until the level of the sub-character reaches the level of the player’s strongest character.
