Bublar Group Partners Up with Google Maps Platform in Upcoming Location-based Augmented Reality Mobile Game Hello Kitty AR Kawaii World

Stockholm, SWEDEN – Bublar Group, augmented reality games studio, today announced that Google Maps Platform will power the upcoming location-based augmented reality game, Hello Kitty AR Kawaii World.

Bublar Group has a license agreement with Japanese Sanrio to develop a cutting edge real-world Augmented Reality (AR) mobile game around the iconic character Hello Kitty and the other popular characters such as Little Twin Stars, My Melody and Gudetama. The game will be developed and published by Bublar, using Bublar´s real-world games platform, allowing fans to create and share small gifts in a virtual world.

“Our mission is to merge the real and imaginary worlds together in a fun way, connecting Augmented Reality and digital content to real-world locations. Our collaboration with Google Maps Platform gives us access to the most prominent mapping service in the world. Buildings, roads and parks will in the game be transformed into a Kawaii world for Hello Kitty and her friends based on Google Maps Platform, says Wictor Hattenbach, Game Studio Director at Bublar Group.

Hello Kitty AR Kawaii World is slated to launch in 2020 with pre-registration starting at Hello Kitty´s 45th anniversary in November 2019.
