In Bug Academy, you will achieve ultimate chaos and cuteness levels in a two for one package deal. Developed by Igrek Games and published by Ultimate Games S.A and Gaming Factory S.A, this kooky puzzle game will soon have you rolling with laughter as you chuck another household appliance through the walls of someone’s house.
Bug Academy is somewhat similar to the early 2000s Nintendo game, Pikmin, as you also control a tiny fleet of tenacious creature that you can command to collect, gather, and deliver objects. With plenty of helpful tutorials and options to re-try levels, this game is easy to play and is appropriate for all ages. Although it is simplistic in design and objectives, the countless puzzles and tasks will keep you entertained for hours – especially if you are a perfectionist and would like to get the gold star. If you have a bit of a competitive side, you can even see how you stack up with other members in the gaming community by seeing the score you obtain after you complete a level.
The first thing that you will probably notice is that everything in Bug Academy is ridiculously adorable. From the strange spherical bugs, to the round, bouncy cows, and to the weirdly sentient fungi, you will not be disappointed in finding something that will make you smile for its sheer whimsy. Even the buzzing soundtrack and fun sound effects created by the bugs themselves are all part of the game’s special charm.
In this game, being destructive is incredibly easy and no walls will be hold you back once you have enough of a swarm. Flies, fireflies, mosquitoes, and bees will be your valuable helpers; each with their own quirks and abilities. You start each level as a lone insect; however, you can quickly build up your rowdy gang by finding sleeping bugs and giving them a good bump with your spherical body. The more bug power you have, the easier it will be to lift and toss objects. Just remember, this will also mean that it will be easier to lose control of your precision and accuracy.
In Bug Academy, there’s a bit of everything for anyone who enjoys puzzle games. There are levels with time-limits and some without. Perhaps you would instead like to collect and mine instead of throwing those funny bovines around? There’s even a level to test your skills of how high you can stack items; the choices really are endless. Hilarious, cute, and a great way to relax and laugh at the mayhem you are causing, there is no wrong way to enjoy this game. So, go ahead, have fun and study hard in this academy so you can be the best bug graduate the world has ever seen.

CONS: Precision of the controls can get tricky.

Video games have always been a huge influence in my life and have definitely shaped me to who I am today . Some of my best memories growing up were the many adventures and stories I was able to experience and become immersed in. If my hands aren't either covered in clay, typing, editing, creating, or helping shoving food in my mouth, they would either be gripped to a controller, tapping away at the screen of my phone, or clicking away on my PC. I am always up for trying something new because why live just one life when you can live many.
