CD PROJEKT Red Announces GWENT Challenger #4, Watch Live this Weekend

CD PROJEKT RED, creators of The Witcher series of games, invite gamers and eSports enthusiasts to watch the fourth tournament in the GWENT Challenger series — taking place this weekend, September 1st and 2nd!

During the Skellige-themed September 2018 Challenger, eight top of the line players will be competing for their share of $100,000 prize pool, Crown Points and a spot in GWENT World Masters — the grand finale of GWENT’s official eSports series.

The tournament will begin with quarterfinals, on Saturday, September 1st and continue with semifinals and finals the following day — Sunday, September 2nd. All matches will be livestreamed on the official CD PROJEKT RED Twitch channel and masters.playgwent.com. Regular updates on the status of the tournament can also be expected from the GWENT Masters Twitter.

The event’s broadcast team consists of GWENT players and streamers — with Matt “Flake” Di Marco and Ashley “Ashlizzlle” Muñoz Preyeses hosting the tournament. Joining them as casters will be Miguel “MegaMogwai” Guerrero León, Dane “McBeard” McBurnie, David “ImpetuousPanda” Gil Nolskog and Francesca “Jaggerous” Jagger with Sean “Swim” Huguenard and Henry “Shinmiri” Fang taking role of analysts.

Viewers will be able to earn in-game rewards by watching the tournament. Included are Card Kegs, a special player title as well as the winner’s favorite card. More details on Twitch Drops can be found at playgwent.com/twitch-drops.
