In anticipation of the global release of Sid Meier’s Civilization VII in a few weeks, 2K is holding the Civ World Summit, a live multiplayer battle between five well-known Civ players!
The webcast will be streamed live from the XPERION Hamburg in Germany today, February 8 at 8:00 AM PST/5:00 PM CET. In collaboration with Rocket Beans TV, the Summit will be hosted by renowned Civ designer PotatoMcWhiskey and Firaxis community manager Sarah Engel.
Tickets to be a part of the live studio audience watching the action develop can be bought HERE for local fans or those who wish to attend in Hamburg, Germany. Fans can watch from home on the Civilization Facebook Page, the Firaxis Games Twitch Channel, or the Civilization YouTube Channel.
To celebrate the occasion, a unique Twitch Drop award will be given out on Twitch. To get it, watch the Firaxis Games channel or one of the affiliated channels stream the tournament!* The Civilization VII Twitch Drops page has comprehensive instructions on how to obtain the Cavalry Charge Banner cosmetic for your in-game profile.
Last but not least, the broadcast will feature an amazing reveal. The list of all five contestants and other details regarding the Civ World Summit will be released in the following weeks.
