Hidetaka Miyazaki, creator of the RPG Series Dark Souls from developer From Software, has been promoted to President of the company.
Miyazaki had joined the Japanese company in 2004. He then created and directed both Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls as well as supervised Dark Souls II while working on another title.
In addition, to Miyazaki’s promotion, Demon’s Souls’ producer, Masanori Takeuchi, was promoted into a senior managing director role.
From Software was acquired recently by Japanese media corporation Kadokawa.
