New Bosses, Worlds, Challenges, Epic Loot and More, Await Players in the Abyss of the Console-Quality Action RPG on Mobile Devices
EMERYVILLE, CA – Darkness Rises, Nexon’s console quality third-person action role playing game (RPG) on mobile devices, continues to evolve with its next content expansion. Since its launch in June 2018, Nexon has continued to expand the Darkness Rises gameplay experience with major content updates and regular live in-game events. The latest updates for Darkness Rises provide players with an all new story chapters in the main quest, a new world to explore and battle across, new gameplay systems and new gear to collect and level up and much more.
The next chapter in Darkness Rises includes:
- Iron Guard Story Chapter – An all new story chapter has players on a quest to redeem the honor of Iron Guard
- Expanded Main Quest – Players can adventure through the recently added chapters 13 – 15 in the main quest line
- Explore Molt Island – A new pirate-themed world, Molt Island, will become available for players to explore once they have cleared Demon Castle Stage Hell
- Halloween Event Coming Soon – In October, players can look forward to a hellish new event that will bring exclusive rewards if they’re able to conquer the challenges
- Raid Bosses and Trial Arenas – Players can take on powerful new bosses with friends or test their mettle in the challenging new Trial Arenas
- Transfer Refinement System – Players can now transfer the level of refinement to another piece of equipment using Transfer Refinement System
- New Loot and Items – The latest update introduces the new armor type, Belts, and a series of new armor sets including the new ninja armor
- PvP Reward Emblems – Players can now show off their PvP status through new PvP reward Emblems
- Expanded Emotes – Brand new emotes will give players a new way to celebrate each victory and dance into their next match
- Event Shop – The new event shop will give players the ability to exchange currency earned during events for exclusive event items
- Max Level Expansion – Players can now level their profile up to 80 and rank their heroes up to level 300
Darkness Rises features fast and fluid combat that is highly intuitive and provides players with the flexibility and customization to fit their playstyle. Players will adventure through a dark fantasy narrative as a customized hero selected from a cast of powerful and diverse character classes, evolving and leveling up their skills and collecting gear along the way. Cooperative dungeons give up to four players a chance to team up in real-time to take on epic challenges together and the Player vs Player (PVP) mode gives players a chance to test their might against their friends and others.
