DC UNIVERSE ONLINE’s Episode 36: METAL PART II Available Now

Players Experience the Epic Conclusion of the Metal Saga with 

All-New Dark Multiverse Content Based on DC’s ‘Dark Nights: Metal’ Series

 

DC Universe Online (DCUO), the massively popular free-to-play multiplayer online (MMO) Super Hero game by Daybreak Games, launches Episode 36: Metal Part II, the second in a two-part series based on DC’s Dark Nights: Metal comic books.   

In Episode 36: Metal Part II, the saga of the Dark Knights, the Dark Multiverse and Metal will come to an explosive conclusion. Thanagar threatens the Earth with the Phoenix Cannon. The dark god Barbatos pulls our world down into the Dark Multiverse. He has waited since the dawn of the universe for this moment, and it seems nothing can stand in his way! 

ABOUT EPISODE 36: METAL PART II:

  • Metal Part II is a large-scale episode, with level-agnostic event versions of content available to all players for a limited time.  

  • The episode features new and returning Super Heroes and Super-Villains, including the dark god himself, Barbatos.    

  • The storyline includes single-player and multiplayer adventures set in locales like the new open-world map of Thanagar.

  • The episode includes new player rewards, featuring new gear inspired by Hawkman and The Dawnbreaker, styles, collections, base items and feats.

DCUO allows players to channel their inner Super Hero or Super-Villain by creating a unique, customizable character from a wide selection of superpowers, movement modes, weapons and over 2,000 styles. Players fight alongside DC’s iconic characters, including Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman and The Joker, in immersive, physics-based action combat.

DCUO is the first and only MMO game set in the iconic DC universe to be available on Nintendo Switch. For the first time, players can experience the massive scale of DC Universe Online on-the-go, including more than 30 breathtaking episodes that take place in huge open worlds such as Gotham City and Metropolis or beneath the sea in Atlantis. 

DCUO is licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and is now available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
