Dead or Alive is back with its sixth installment and it is going to be released March 1, 2019. Last weekend, Koei Tecmo Games provided an online beta for PS Plus users on Playstation 4, and we were able to try out the game.
Dead or Alive 6 provided five characters to play with: Kasumi, Ayane, Hayabusa, Hayate, and Diego. The game started with a bit of a tutorial, showing all the blocks, counters, attacks, and dodges. Then onto the Online game play – played a few games and it was a lot of fun. The only mode available during the demo was the Ranked mode. We tried Kasumi and Hayate and it was amazing. The special skills and counters were great, even though it was a bit difficult to play with so quickly with some professional and other Dead or Alive players. But overall the experience of the game has a lot to look forward to, and for fans of Dead or Alive series, this is a definite yes.
DEAD OR ALIVE 6 is currently in development for the PlayStation 4 Computer Entertainment System, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and digitally on Windows PC via Steam, and will be released worldwide March 1, 2019.
