Hero Fests, a Blades of Persia throwback event inspired by Prince of Persia, Hero Fests, and game changes are all part of For Honor‘s Year 9 Season 1 mid-season update. During Blades of Persia’s run from now until May 14, players can battle as the Warrior Prince and take advantage of a special Hero Skin promotion that comes with three scavenging crates filled with random items, one Aramusha Hero Skin, and a seven-day Champion Status.

During the May 29–June 5 Chimera Banquet event, the Heralds of Chimera special PvP game mode—a best-of-seven 4v4 battle—will be available. Hero Fests, where players can test a Hero for free for a week and then buy it at a discount, will be implemented in Title Update 2. At the beginning of every Hero Fest, a special execution will also be made available for purchase. The dates of Nuxia’s run are May 15–22 for Warmonger, May 22–29 for Pirate, and June 5–12.
The new Title Update comes with a number of game updates, such as:
Menu – Heroes Page
- The loadout preview can now be altered straight from the character customization and choosing screen.
- Players can now choose between “Match All” and “Match Any” on the barracks’ Filters page.A new option in the Filters page in the barracks allows players to switch between “Match All” and “Match Any”
Balancing Changes
- Varangian Guard: No longer improved Light Openers and Finishers
- Nobushi – There is more sideways movement in Sidewinder Form, Cobra Strike, and Side Dodge.
- Warmonger – Light openers aren’t improved anymore.
- Khatun – Angry Storm and Ultimate Authority’s attack trajectories have been modified to better correspond with the graphics of their weapons.
