At The Game Awards 2022, Bungie released the latest trailer for their upcoming expansion, Destiny 2: Lightfall, launching on February 28, 2023. The gameplay trailer showcases the brand-new subclass Strand, the neon-lit Neptunian metropolis Neomuna, and more.

Destiny 2 was nominated at The Game Awards 2022 for Best Ongoing Game and Best Community Support. The developers thank the Guardians who voted for them and continue to strive for the best ongoing experience and community support in Destiny 2.

Earlier this week, Destiny 2 kicked off Season of the Seraph, which brought new Seasonal activities, weekly missions that culminate in the discovery of a new Exotic weapon, Crucible updates, and more. This week also marked the beginning of the Moments of Triumph celebration for Guardians to collectively honor their achievements from the past year with The Witch Queen, and to prepare for the launch of Destiny 2: Lightfall.
