Electronic Arts Parners, which has been the contract-based publishing service for independent developers, is closing down – that’s the word from undisclosed, but reliable sources.
EA has brought us the following great tites (plus many more):
- The Crysis series
- Shadows of the Damned
- Alice: Madness Returns
- Bulletstorm
- Brutal Legend
- The Rock Band series and more.
The news comes right after the departure of EA’s CEO, John Riccitiello, the abandonment of the new Facebook titles from a studio that was acquired for $300 million, as well as numerous worldwide layoffs.
