Takeda Takahashi, the newest fighter added to the Mortal Kombat 1 roster through downloadable content (DLC), is featured in a new gameplay trailer released by Warner Bros. Games today. Takahashi will be available to all players on July 30 after early access for Kombat Pack owners ends on July 23. Additionally, on July 23, Kombat Pack owners and standalone buyers will be able to purchase Ferra, a new DLC Kameo Fighter who can aid throughout bouts with a variety of support moves.
Takeda Takahashi was brought up in a Yakuza household, just like his cousin Kenshi. Takeda, in contrast, relished this way of life. He was picked to put an end to Kenshi’s rebellion against his masters for this reason. Takeda was mortally wounded in the struggle. Determined not to let his cousin perish, Kenshi hurried him to the closest medical facility, the Shirai Ryu. Kenshi refused to let Takeda go, not even when he was healed. He was afraid that if he didn’t complete his task, the Yakuza would kill him. Takeda resisted, trying to break free several times. However, as the months went by, he started to value the Shirai Ryu’s altruistic dedication to Earthrealm, which stood in stark contrast to his previous way of life. Takeda vowed to uproot the underworld of Earthrealm by hand, but he soon discovers that the roots are more robust and intricate than he could have ever imagined. Takeda’s moveset, which was influenced by Shirai Ryu, is fully displayed in the new video. It includes his mastery of teleportation to strike opponents from behind, his usage of powerful kunai projectiles to extend combinations, and his ability to pull and fling opponents with his sharp whips.

This chance, which is located inside the Mortal Kombat 1 booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall, will only be available to event guests.
Johnny Cage’s Jean-Claude Van Damme character skin is part of the Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack, along with six playable DLC characters: Omni-Man, Quan Chi, Peacemaker, Ermac, Homelander, and Takeda Takahashi (who will be available on July 23 for a one-week early access period); and five DLC Kameo Fighters: Tremor, Khameleon, Janet Cage, Mavado, and Ferra (also on July 23). The Kombat Pack can be bought alone or as part of the Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition, which is currently on sale.
