As disclosed in today’s Nintendo Direct, CD PROJEKT RED is pleased to announce that Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition will be included in the Nintendo Switch 2 launch day lineup.
Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition Key Features:
- The basic game and the spy-thriller expansion Phantom Liberty are combined into Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, which is being made available to Nintendo players for the first time.
- The game makes extensive use of the gyroscope aiming, motion controls, touch screen commands, and mouse capabilities of the Nintendo Switch 2
- On launch day, Nintendo Switch 2 owners can buy the game from the Nintendo eShop as a digital download or a physical 64 GB game card.
Nintendo fans will be able to play the open-world action-adventure role-playing game for the first time, allowing them to take on the role of cyber-enhanced mercenary V and battle for survival and glory in a dystopian future. In the basic game and its spy-thriller expansion Phantom Liberty, which are all included in one comprehensive bundle, players can explore Night City, one of the most immersive gaming worlds.

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition offers Nintendo players fresh and thrilling methods to increase their enjoyment in the future metropolis, and it is designed for all play modes. Players can use the Joy-Con 2 controllers to experiment with motion controls during battle, activate Gyroscope Mode for pinpoint accuracy, tap, swipe, or pinch through menus or inventories, or use the Joy-Con 2 (R) as a mouse control. The game is made to capitalize on the new features offered by the Nintendo Switch 2 system.
Badowski added, “This is the most cyberpunk way to play Cyberpunk 2077. With every new feature, players can take center stage in the action to become the ultimate edgerunner.”
The Nintendo eShop will offer Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2 as a download or as a physical 64 GB game card. The Nintendo eShop offers additional language packs for the Nintendo Switch 2, which could change the game’s final size.
