Today, Fantail Games revealed that Game Night for Meta Quest devices is now available in Early Access. For players of all ages, Game Night offers a selection of easy-to-learn mixed reality minigames that combine arcade excitement with multiplayer mayhem. As you run, dodge, scoop, bob, and slap around the room, challenge yourself or ask loved ones to join you using headphones for the ultimate game night. You’re all welcome!
Fantail Games founder Steven Linton stated, “The best moments in testing Game Night have been when adults play with their kids. Everyone gets into it and connects in a way you just don’t see with traditional video games. Mixed reality is the secret sauce in getting the whole gang into the experience of playing face-to-face together in the same room, running around, laughing and having a great time.”
Game Night offers three minigames
- Players battle to catch as many fish as they can and put them in the basket
- Players score points by bouncing their balloon bunnies into carrots
- Stop the alien jelly threat by slapping!
As the full launch draws near, more games and features will be introduced.
Each participant, who can support one to four others, can choose to collaborate or compete for an experience as distinctive as the group they’re playing with.
Game Night is now available for Quest 3, 3S, Pro and 2. For more information, head over to the Meta Store page.
