The new update and expansion brings the game to more players and bundles the game with all the DLC up to this point. Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed for switch still delivers a smiliar experience. It still pays homage to the beloved Ghostbusters franchise, offering a thrilling and nostalgic gaming experience. Developed by IllFonic a team of passionate creators, this game successfully blends the essence of the original movies with modern gameplay elements, offering both long-time fans and newcomers an exciting adventure.

Set in a stylized 3D world that lends itself to be easily adaptable on the switch. It almost seems like something that should have been available at the original launch. The game’s graphics capture the essence of the Ghostbusters universe, bringing iconic locations and ghoulish spirits to life. The attention to detail in recreating the familiar gadgets and the Ecto-1 is commendable, immersing players in the familiar Ghostbusters lore. The visual effects during intense proton pack battles and ghost encounters are impressive even on the switch this isnt a game that has been lowered so greatly that it is laughable from its full resolution counter part like MK1.

The gameplay mechanics are intuitive and accessible, making it easy for players to jump right into the action. Players assume the roles of rookie Ghostbusters, equipped with an array of familiar ghost-busting equipment. The well-designed controls allow for smooth maneuverability during ghost battles, adding an element of excitement and challenge to the gameplay.
