A new multiplayer Beta update has been released for Halo 5: Guardians by 343 Industries.
The new update features Breakout, a brand-new game type that is round-based, and your Spartan only has one life each round. The first team to take five rounds wins the match. You’ll be able to play on two maps: Crossfire, and its variant, Trench.
There will also be two new maps swapped into the Slayer playlist: Regret and Eden. Regret is a remix of Truth, and Eden is a remix of Empire, both of which were included in week 1. Additionally, you’ll be able to wield the Hydra MLRS, a brand-new weapon to the Halo universe, while slaying on Regret.
In addition, there are now BR starts in the Slayer playlist. You can take a look at the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer Beta trailer here.
The Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta takes place December 29 – January 18. The game is due to release this year for Xbox One.
