A new multiplayer Beta update has been released for Halo 5: Guardians by 343 Industries.
For the final week of the beta, the developer is introducing another game type: Strongholds. To win, teams must control the majority of bases. Teams earn one point per second for every controlled base more than the enemy team. You’ll be able to play Strongholds on Regret and Empire.
There will also be two maps swapped into the Slayer playlist. You’ll once again be able to wield the Prophet’s Bane, and cut through your opponent’s on Truth. Additionally, based on your votes, you’ll now be able to play on a new Forge map, Pegasus.
We appreciate your feedback thus far through the beta. Please continue to send your feedback and report issues to our Halo 5: Guardians MP Support Section. Lastly, we also have a batch of images for the new maps, which you can check out below.

The Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta takes place December 29 – January 18. The game is due to release this year for Xbox One. You can Pre-Order Halo 5: Guardians right now.
