The twilight of the Clone Wars is the setting for the grim and genuine original story STAR WARS Zero Company. In order to lead a top-tier team of crafty agents, players will assume the role of Hawks, a former Republic officer. Zero Company, a unique group of experts for hire from all across the galaxy, must put aside their differences in order to overcome almost insurmountable difficulties and face a new menace that, if ignored, will engulf the galaxy.
Greg Foertsch, CEO and Creative Director at Bit Reactor stated, “Our vision for Star Wars Zero Company is grounded in gameplay design pillars that weave in the immersive Star Wars galaxy with engaging turn-based tactics gameplay. It’s our aim to deliver a game with an original Star Wars story from the Clone Wars era that has meaningful outcomes from player choices, and deep turn-based tactical combat with an approachable and cinematic presentation.”
Douglas Reilly, GM & VP, Lucasfilm Games stated, “At Lucasfilm Games, we’re huge tactics fans and we have wanted to make a game like this for a long time,. The best tactics games are all about meaningful choices, and we’re confident we have chosen the right squad in Bit Reactor to deliver a compelling and innovative title that is authentic to Star Wars.”
Players will launch a campaign of tactical operations and investigations around the galaxy in STAR WARS Zero Company. To remain ahead of Zero Company’s enemies, they will establish a base of operations in between missions and use a network of informants to obtain intelligence. As they come to know a cast of freshly written Star Wars characters, players will be able to design and personalize their own team of hired operators.
While hired operatives can be modified from a variety of authentic Star Wars character classes and species, Hawks’ appearance and fighting class can be completely altered. Customize the look, load-out, and skills of your squadmates to fit a wide range of character types, including as Jedi, astromechs, and Clone Troopers. Members of Zero Company will develop relationships with one another in the field in order to unleash potent combat synergies that have the potential to change the outcome of a battle. Players will require meticulous preparation, skillful tactics, and the appropriate team to prevail in this game, which offers nearly limitless possibilities and high-stakes clashes that could alter the galaxy’s destiny.
STAR WARS Zero Company will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. You can wishlist the game right now.
