New anti-cheat system shields popular free-to-play WW2 game Heroes & Generals from cheaters
Copenhagen – Heroes & Generals should be fun for everyone to play – and it is the developer’s responsibility to promote a fair play environment. That is why RETO MOTO, the veteran game studio behind Heroes & Generals, has licensed the anti-cheat system BattlEye to protect the frontline from cheaters.
“Licensing a well proven anti-cheat system like BattlEye, helps ensure a fair gameplay experience for everyone. It also frees up development resources that we can put towards improving and developing the game, benefitting players all around,” says Jean-Marc Broyer, CEO at RETO MOTO.
“We are looking forward to be able to help RETO MOTO in their fight against cheaters and will use all of our experience from past and current titles to protect Heroes & Generals with the same level of effectiveness while not disturbing the legitimate player in the process,” says Bastian Suter, CEO at BattlEye
BattlEye was introduced in Heroes & Generals with the latest update 1.10.2 along with 10 new vehicle paint jobs and a number of player requested fixes.
Heroes & Generals is available for PC for free at HeroesAndGenerals.com.

I’m from Charlotte, NC and have been playing/ studying games for as long as I can remember. What I love about gaming is that it gives people from every walk of life a chance to engage their curiosity, creativity and optimism on a fundamental level and I look forward to being able to help people find the games that speak to them the most.
