Hooded Horse and 3DIVISION are pleased to declare that socialism transcends both space and time. The developers will now expand their beliefs back in time with a new DLC pack that gives older start dates, demonstrating that they are not satisfied with just spreading them globally. On May 22, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic – Early Start will release on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.
Check out the Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic Early Start DLC Release Date Announce Trailer:
The Early Start DLC will allow players to start the game as early as the 1930s, with additional start dates in the 1940s and 1950s, and will include period-appropriate buildings, cars, and technology. These earlier periods offer possibilities for creating the ideal Soviet republic over a longer time span, but they also present additional difficulties and constraints.
Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic – Early Start Key Features:
- More than 90 new vehicles in every category, including NATO and Soviet designs
- Expanded information about the coal sector because of its growing significance during these eras
- More alternatives for buildings that more accurately represent the constraints and architectural styles of the era
- New, recognizable monuments
- Updated tech-tree to take into account these older periods’ technical advancements
- Moscow and St. Petersburg are featured on two brand-new maps that can be played with pre-existing populations or with completely blank beginnings
Additionally compatible with the earlier start dates and related content are maps from the World Maps & Biomes DLC and the basic game.
Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic – Early Start will release on May 22, 2025 for PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. The base game is available for a base price of $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99 / ¥4,980. It has a 92% “Very Positive” review rating on Steam with over 18,000 reviews.
