LOS ANGELES (Oct. 9, 2015) – To prepare players for next week’s release of DRAGON QUEST HEROES: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below, SQUARE ENIX today released a new infographic providing background on the iconic monsters that players will encounter during their adventure.
It tracks the evolution of the most memorable DRAGON QUEST monsters, including slime, metal slime, healslime and the one-eyed giant, gigantes. Starting with their 8-bit designs from DRAGON QUEST andDRAGON QUEST II: Luminaries of the Legendary Lines to high definition in DRAGON QUEST HEROES: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below, both fans and those new to the franchise will enjoy learning about some of the monsters they can befriend and battle.

Story:
A dark cloud has fallen over the city of Arba, driving the once peaceful monsters into a frenzied rage. As either the hero, Luceus, or the heroine, Aurora, the player joins forces with an iconic cast from previous DRAGON QUEST titles to bring the rampaging hordes of monsters to their senses and restore order to the kingdom.
About the Game:
DRAGON QUEST HEROES: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below will be available for the PlayStation 4 system on October 13, 2015 in North America for $59.99. The Day One Edition, including 5 in-game items, is available for $59.99 at all participating retailers. The Slime Collector’s Edition is available for $99.99 and will feature a premium treasure chest-style box containing exclusive physical items and downloadable content is available for pre-order through the Square Enix Online Store.
