Illuvium premiered their highly-anticipated gameplay reveal trailer this weekend, featuring never-before-seen gameplay content. Illuvium, an AAA open-world RPG, monster collector and autobattler game built on the Ethereum Blockchain, is set to release on PC and Mac in 2022.

The new gameplay reveal trailer gives players a first look at the detailed environments of the vast overworld, and the game’s artful high-fidelity CG graphics. The art team behind the game includes seasoned pros who have worked on blockbuster projects like Star Wars: The Mandalorian, films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and popular mainstream video games like World of Warcraft. Set to a pulse-pounding orchestral remix of Fatboy Slim’s track “Praise You,” the gameplay footage shows characters duking it out on battle boards, extracting resources to sell or craft into items, and exploring the enormous overworld by jetpack. Illuvium’s collectible characters and resources are NFT assets that players can discover, own, and upgrade to increase earning opportunities in the play-to-earn sci-fi adventure.
Players of Illuvium can hunt, capture, and send to battle monstrous creatures that appear to possess elemental abilities. As they explore vast alien landscapes, players collect NFTs in the form of Illuvials. Training and fusing Illuvials into powerful evolutions builds up their value. Strategizing which unique synergies would make for the best fighting team helps players earn in PvE and PvP Arenas. Hitting a winning streak in a tournament could mean a windfall of real-world money, as avid earners compete to become the strongest Ranger on this shattered planet.
Illuvium’s $ILV tokens are now trading at 953$USD each, ballooning the value of Illuvium to $9B market cap in just 12 months.
