INSIDIA Now Featured on Popular FACEIT eSports Platform; Developer Bad Seed Also Announces Collectible Champions Figurines Kickstarter to Celebrate Game Launch
MILAN, ITALY – Bad Seed — an Italian indie developer with four years of experience developing innovative and high-quality indie games — is excited to announce that INSIDIA, their free-to-play, turn-based online strategy game for Windows PC, Mac and SteamOS / Linux devices, has launched on Steam! INSIDIA, which has enjoyed fan acclaim on Steam Early Access since September 2017, is a tactical game of swift and frantic duels set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, featuring simultaneous turns with a flexible combo system that keeps the action going, even between turns!
Thanks to its competitive nature and incredibly fun to watch gameplay, INSIDIA launched with full support from FACEIT, a leading eSports platforms with nearly 10 million professional competitive gamers and hardcore amateur members. INSIDIA players can follow Bad Seed on FACEIT at their official organizer page, where they can register to launch tournaments or join the official game hub. Players of all levels can challenge each other for prestige or prizes, as they rise up the INSIDIA ranks and become wasteland warriors!

INSIDIA features familiar mechanics that online strategy game fans love, mixed with a heavy dose of rapid-fire mayhem. Players must assemble a team of Champions composed of steam knights, fierce punks, odd mutants and other degenerates of a post-apocalyptic fantasy world, then take part in matches that are quick and demand on-the-fly decision making — it’s perfectly coordinated chaos! The game’s unique combo system features simultaneous turns where both players never give up control of the action, introducing them to a new league of tactical depth. Get ready to battle it out in the colorful yet brutal world of INSIDIA!
The launch update for INSIDIA brings some exciting new additions to the game! It will include Coma, the newest Champion, an in-game news system, the brand new Wastelander’s Pack and new cosmetics like Champion skins and poses.
Insidia Key Features:
- Simultaneous Turns – During a window of 20 seconds, both players declare their actions to issue an order to one of their Champions. Once complete, the fight unfolds during a resolution phase where the outcome for both players is revealed.
- Passive Abilities – INSIDIA’s combat system is composed of passive and automatic abilities in additional to player-driven attacks. Champions not chosen in any given turn won’t sit idly by — automated actions for each champion keeps the entire squad fully engaged in combat!
- Combo Combo Combo! – By carefully weaving together active and passive abilities, players can achieve spectacular combos. In and between turns, Champions join forces to deliver devastating blows with just a few simple clicks by the player!
- Map Objectives – INSIDIA isn’t a mere deathmatch. Players must capture critical objects in order to destroy an enemy’s defense and lay waste to their base — MOBA enthusiasts will feel right at home. And Champions that take the risk of capturing secondary goals may unlock abilities that can overturn even the most dire situations.
To celebrate the launch of INSIDIA, Bad Seed has also announced a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to create 3D printed miniatures of the game’s most iconic Champions!
