The 19th annual Japan Game Awards will hold the awards ceremony on Thursday, September 17 (the first day of Tokyo Game Show 2015) at the Event Stage (Hall 1) in Makuhari Messe.
Don’t miss the opportunity to capture the moment as various titles that symbolize this year’s game industry will be awarded.
September 17 (Thu) 16:00 to 17:30 (Planned) at Event Stage(Hall 1)
Each award for the “Games of the Year Division” is selected from over 2,000 titles released during the time between April 1, 2014 and March 31, 2015 and honors a title suitable to represent this past year. The “Game Designer’s Award” is selected by top creators and designers in Japan from their professional viewpoint. The “Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award” is given to an individual or group who has contributed to the development of the game industry.

The award for the Future Division is applicable for unreleased titles that were announced and exhibited at the TGS2015, and votes were collected from visitors in three days during the event. After which, through a screening by the Japan Game Awards Selection Committee, a title with future prospective was selected.
