Kiwis are fuzzy, adorable, and come in a fun round shape. No, we’re not talking about the tasty vitamin C filled fruit, but the native bird of New Zealand! These cute flightless birds have long beaks, short stick-like legs, and wings so small that they can’t be used for flying. This hasn’t brought down these tenacious avians who have somehow found employment at a post office in the highly entertaining game, KeyWe. Developed by Stonewheat & Sons and published by Sold Out, this Co-Op puzzle game will have you strengthening your teamwork skills with either your familiar friends, or the new friends you make online.
The post office that the kiwi birds work at also employs cassowaries and an octopus named Zoey. Despite having different animals as their employees, not all equipment is ergonomic or easily accessible for everyone. Luckily for the post office, no one seems to have reported their questionable business practices. Despite working with human sized telegraphs machines, large crane operations, and even in flooded basements, the kiwis are resourceful and intelligent. This funky bird duo has certainly found ways to makeup for their lack of hands, wings, and their small stature as their quick feet and butt slamming seems to do the job just fine.
There are different areas in the post office that need some of that special kiwi attention. Players can work at the telegraph desk, transcription room, the shipping floor, or the drop-off depot. Extra levels in the form of overtime shifts are also available such as Conveyor Belt Chaos and Lunch Break. With easy to follow tutorials and plenty of time to learn the best methods to complete tasks, you and your friends will earn the titles of Postmasters in no time.
Once enough stamps are earned, outfits, accessories, and even skins can be purchased for the small birds. Dress them up in a cute picnic backpack, or maybe just put a dinosaur head on them like a little macabre helmet. There are plenty of options to have fun with your kiwi’s look. As this game is currently still in development, there is much promise with more cute looks and collectibles to come.
KeyWe is adorable, wholesome, and just an utter delight to play with friends. With its fun puzzles, and quirky charm, this game somehow manages to balance the fine line of being both mentally stimulating and relaxing. Great for all ages, KeyWe will keep you and a friend entertained for hours. Teamwork and good communication is key and as the two kiwis in this game demonstrate, there is much power in working together.

Video games have always been a huge influence in my life and have definitely shaped me to who I am today . Some of my best memories growing up were the many adventures and stories I was able to experience and become immersed in. If my hands aren't either covered in clay, typing, editing, creating, or helping shoving food in my mouth, they would either be gripped to a controller, tapping away at the screen of my phone, or clicking away on my PC. I am always up for trying something new because why live just one life when you can live many.
