Halloween event brings creepy new decorations, chilling collectibles and a terrifyingly fun side quest, along with a community update with mid-session access and lobby party preservation
The futuristic action RPG, Killsquad, commences the spooky season celebration with Hallowtide, the first ever Halloween event in the game, featuring exciting content additions such as collectibles, new quests, spooky UI decorations and audio, bringing bone-chilling frights and fun to the Killsquad universe. The pumpkin hunt begins as players roam planets to complete an eerie side quest and earn various Halloween themed portraits and badges leading up to the third major update, PLAGUE, coming on Halloween day. This week people can purchase Killsquad with 30% off as part of Steam’s Halloween sale.
Additionally, Novarama released the second community update, which brings the most community-requested features, such as the ability to join an ongoing contract and stay with the party together for the following matches. This update greatly reduces lobby waiting times as all available contracts will become a candidate session as well as help maintain continuity of the bounty hunter squad, facilitating the cooperative experience. Killsquad is available for PC via Steam Early Access.
